Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has named Sanjeev Nautiyal as its Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with effect from 1st July, 2024. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has granted approval for a tenure of three years.
Prior to the role of MD and CEO, Nautiyal will serve as the President of the bank. He brings over three decades of comprehensive experience in various domains including retail, SME, financial inclusion, operations, HR, international banking and treasury.
Previously, Nautiyal held key positions such as Deputy Managing Director of Financial Inclusion and Micro Markets at SBI, and MD and CEO of SBI Life Insurance. Currently, he serves as an independent director at Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and provides advisory services to several organisations.
