Shivalik Small Finance Bank has appointed Ramesh Thimanna as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), the bank revealed on its social media page.
According to a post by the bank on LinkedIn, Thimanna started off as an individual contributor at top investment banks in London, building high-performance market-facing platforms. After returning to India, he has been with start-ups that grew to more than 10 million users, and also boot-strapped a payments platform based on a centralised-immutable-payments ledger.
It further mentioned that Thimanna’s last stint was with PayU India as a Senior Director heading their embedded-finance pilots. He holds experience working with banks and fintechs, and will play a major role in Shivalik’s digital and fintech initiatives.
