In a strategic leadership reshuffle, RBL Bank has announced the appointment of Narendra Agrawal as President and Head of Branch Banking and Retail Liabilities, and T.S. Pari as Chief Operations Officer (COO). The move is part of the bank’s broader plan to enhance its retail banking franchise and streamline core operations.
Narendra Agrawal, with over 25 years of experience across deposits, lending, distribution and payments, will focus on driving deposit growth, enhancing customer experience and integrating branch banking with asset sales.
Meanwhile, T.S. Pari, who also brings more than two decades of leadership experience across foreign and private sector banks, will take charge of driving operational efficiencies, strengthening customer-centric processes and enhancing risk management practices in the bank’s core operations.
The appointments align with RBL Bank’s ongoing transformation strategy, aimed at strengthening key business segments and improving operational agility. Commenting on the leadership changes, R. Subramaniakumar, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), RBL Bank, said, “Narendra and Pari bring expertise in driving business growth, operational excellence and customer-centric transformation. Their leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our retail banking franchise and accelerating execution in strategic priority areas.”
In addition to these changes, Alok Rastogi, Head of Corporate Centre, will continue to oversee the bank’s operations and cost optimisation initiatives.
Ahead of the announcement, shares of RBL Bank closed 1.96 per cent lower at Rs 155.20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday.
