PhonePe, has come up with a new firecracker insurance policy to safeguard users against firecracker-related accidents during the Diwali celebrations. The insurance plan is priced at just Rs 9 and offers coverage of up to Rs 25,000 for a 10-day period, providing comprehensive protection for users and their families.
Available across India, the policy covers hospitalisation and accidental death expenses due to firecracker mishaps, giving families an extra layer of financial security. The coverage begins on 25th October, and users can quickly purchase the plan through the PhonePe app in under a minute. The policy also extends to family members, including the policyholder, their spouse and up to two children.

For those purchasing the plan after October 25, coverage will begin from the date of purchase, ensuring flexibility for users to secure protection throughout the Diwali season.
