IndusInd Bank has been awarded the prestigious Digital Payments Award 2023–24 by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in recognition of its exceptional performance in the digital payments landscape.
The award ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi and was graced by the presence of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as the Chief Guest, along with Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary and other dignitaries.
The Bank secured third position among private sector banks for its achievements in digital payments during FY 2023–24.
According to the DFS scorecard, IndusInd Bank achieved 120 per cent of its digital transaction target, the highest among all private sector banks in India.
The award was presented to Ritesh Raj Saxena, Head of Direct Banking, and Dev Ratan Suri, Head – SDG (Payments, Cards and Government Business), by M. Nagaraju, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, and Dr. Abhijit Phukon, Economic Advisor, DFS.

IndusInd Bank’s ‘Digital 2.0’ strategy has enabled seamless, inclusive, and innovation-led financial services. Its flagship app INDIE, with 1.6 million active users, has been instrumental in reshaping retail banking. The bank processes 1.2 million digital credit applications monthly and reports a 93 per cent digital transaction mix as of March 31, 2025.
