The Central Government has appointed Brajesh Kumar Singh as the Executive Director (ED) for Indian Bank yesterday for a period of three years, the bank notified via a statement.
“…the Central Government vide Notification No 4/1(viii) dated March 9, 2024 appointed Brajesh Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, Bank of Baroda as Executive Director of Indian Bank for a period of three years, with effect the date of assumption of office on or after March 10, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” the bank said in a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing yesterday.
Earlier, Singh had held the position of Chief General Manager (CGM) – Human Resources (HR) at Bank of Baroda. He had also served as Director on the Boards of Bank of Baroda and Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank.
