In a significant move to bolster its national presence and enhance financial accessibility, Bank of India (BOI) has inaugurated 111 new branches across the country. The virtual launch ceremony was led by Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to fostering economic growth through expanded banking services.
The newly launched branches span diverse regions, covering both urban and semi-urban areas to enhance banking outreach. The Hyderabad Field General Manager Office (FGMO) recorded the highest number of new branches with 17 openings, followed by Chennai (14), Pune (13) and New Delhi (12). Further expansions were noted in Bhopal (11), Chandigarh (10) and Lucknow (10).
Commenting on the development, the MD & CEO stated, “This expansion strengthens our presence in key centres, ensuring banking services are accessible and convenient for our customers. By growing our branch network, we aim to provide personalised financial solutions, support small businesses and empower individuals with resources to help them thrive.
