Bandhan Bank has appointed Rajeev Mantri as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) starting from 22nd February, 2024. He has replaced Abhijit Ghosh, the bank’s interim CFO and Head, Finance and Accounts, as per an exchange filing by the bank.
Mantri holds over 25 years of experience in banking and finance spanning India, Singapore and the UAE. He was the CFO of Citi India for previous three years before his appointment. He also spent over 15 years working with Standard Chartered Bank in India and Singapore and Mashreqbank in the UAE. Prior to joining Citi Bank, he was also the CFO at TransUnion CIBIL.
Ghosh took over as interim CFO on 20th October, 2023, after Sunil Samdhani stepped down as CFO.
Mantri is a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and an Executive MBA from INSEAD Business School in Singapore.
