The 20th NBFCs and Fintech Conclave & Awards 2025, curated by B2B Market Media | The Founder Media, has successfully wrapped up in Chennai on 4th July 2025, as it explored the accelerating digital transformation across non-banking financial companies and FinTech innovators.
The day commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Ashish Srivastava, Co-Founder and Director, B2B | TFM, setting an inspiring tone for the sessions ahead.
A fireside chat featuring Sunder Madakshira, Chief Marketing Officer, Sinch, and Anandh Kumar, Head of Marketing, Creditmantri, offered real-world insights into full-funnel marketing strategies tailored for financial services.
The first panel, “Overcoming Legacy Systems: The Path to Modernization,” moderated by Venkatesh Kannappan, MD & CEO, Aham Housing Finance, brought together Sumit Sharma of Radian Finserv, Kumaran Sampath of Aegma Capital Services, Balaji TK of Flexi Loans, and Varun Khullar of Leadsquared to discuss strategies for migrating outdated infrastructures to scalable, cloud-based ecosystems.
This was followed by a technical presentation from Vignesh Chandrasekaran of WhizzC on “The Compliance Shift: Why Fast-Growing NBFCs Are Choosing Products Over Consulting.”
In the second CXO panel, chaired by Thiru R., Financial Inclusion Expert, speakers, including Lakshaman Perumal of Samunnati Financial Intermediation and Services, Vinod Kumar of Shriram Finance Ltd., Gokul Rajan of Hinduja Leyland Finance, Rahul Tripathy of Dvara KGFS, and Souparno Bagchi of Balancehero India, examined the balance between regulatory compliance and technological innovation.
The afternoon sessions highlighted critical themes in cybersecurity and customer engagement. Under the moderation of Sambit Sinha of Grant Thornton, third panel with the theme, “The Evolution of Cybersecurity Automation: Balancing AI with Human Expertise”, featured insights from Kunal Kathpal of Hinduja Leyland Finance, Hemang Mehta of Vivriti Capital, Noiel M Benedict of Equitas Small Finance Bank, Ajay Ghosh of Invest Gold Finance, and Balraj Srinivasan of Muthoot Fincorp.
For the fourth panel, led by Sunder Madakshira, delved into “AI-Driven Customer Experience: Personalization at Scale,” with contributions from Krishnaswami V of Aptus Value Housing Finance India, Prasenjit Datta of Vivriti Capital, Dinesh Babu of Veritas Financial Services, and Swapnil Dixit of Avanti Finance Pvt. Ltd.
The conclave culminated in an Excellence Award Felicitation Ceremony recognising outstanding contributions across the industry, followed by a vote of thanks and closing remarks, reaffirming the sector’s commitment to a digitally empowered future.
