Axis Finance has appointed Sai Giridhar as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ‘designate’, subject to regulatory approval. Giridhar will take over the reins from Bipin Saraf, the current MD and CEO, who will return to Axis Bank to lead Bharat Banking.
Speaking about the appointment, Amitabh Chaudhry, Chairperson, Axis Finance, expressed confidence in Giridhar’s leadership, stating, “Sai’s leadership will help Axis Finance reach new heights. His appointment strengthens our commitment to enhance our market position in the NBFC sector.”
With 28 years of experience in the banking sector, Giridhar has held prominent leadership roles in some of the top private sector banks in India. His extensive expertise in financial services and banking operations positions him well to lead Axis Finance into its next phase of growth.
