The Union Payments Interface (UPI) has surpassed 10 million transactions in the month of August 2023. The National Payments Corporation of India took to X to say, “It’s 10 billion+ transactions in August`23! Make seamless payments from your mobile in real-time with UPI.”
The transaction count for the month stood at 10.58 billion. In July, it was 9.6 billion, according to NPCI.
Further, for the month of June, the number of transactions were 9.4 billion, NPCI stated.
