The Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (UP StCB) has granted an Rs 18.69 crore contract to Vinsys IT Services India, to modernise rural credit delivery.
The agreement focuses on digitising and migrating data for 1,000 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across the state.
Under the contract, Vinsys is tasked with completing the data migration within 18 months. Additionally, the company will provide technical support and system maintenance for a total of five years. The project includes phased quarterly payments to ensure smooth execution and implementation.
This initiative underscores UP StCB’s commitment to enhancing the technological infrastructure of grassroots cooperative institutions. It aligns with the broader national goal of digitising all PACS by March 2025, aiming to improve efficiency and transparency in rural financial services.
