PNB MetLife India Insurance today appointed Sameer Bansal as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), starting 1st July, 2024, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
He succeeds Ashish Srivastava, who has been named MD for MetLife’s global shared services team in India.
Bansal, who has over 25 years of experience in financial services, has led various distribution channels including bancassurance, agency, digital, employee benefits and direct marketing. He joined PNB MetLife in 2007 and currently serves as Chief Distribution Officer and a member of the leadership team.
Bansal will oversee the growth of MetLife’s key market in India, which includes 149 branches and over 18,600 locations.
