LTIMindtree has named former Chief Operating Officer (COO) Nachiket Deshpande as the President of its newly-established AI Services Business Group, marking a significant leadership shift under CEO-designate Venu Lambu.
Deshpande, previously a key contender for the CEO position, will now lead AI-driven client engagements, research initiatives, M&A strategy and global partnerships. As an executive board member, he will oversee the AI business group’s focus on AI advisory, engineering, solutions and platform operations, supported by AI Studio and the Agentic AI marketplace.
Based in New York, Deshpande will also align the Global Technology Office’s (GTO) research agenda, evaluate emerging AI technologies and collaborate with academic institutions to drive long-term innovation and growth.
LTIMindtree is actively pursuing AI-driven mergers and acquisitions to strengthen its technology portfolio and expand its customer base.
