Lloyd Business School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Smartbridge Trading Solutions to integrate academic learning with industry requirements. The partnership, formalised on 4th December, 2024, aims to equip students with industry-relevant skills, enhance their employability and provide a platform for professional growth.
The MoU was signed by Dr Vandana Arora Sethi, Chief Strategy and Head of Growth, Lloyd Group of Institutions and Pankaj Bhagchandani, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Smartbridge Trading Solutions, in the presence of key faculty members, including Dr Saumendra Mohanty, Area-Chair of Business Analytics and Prof Neha Issar, Associate Professor and Industry Engagement Lead.

This collaboration focuses on integrating industry-based training into the academic curriculum. Through project-based learning, students will work on live projects with Smartbridge’s expert professionals, gaining hands-on experience in solving real-world business challenges.

- Targeted Skills Training: Focused on areas such as Excel, data analysis, leadership, communication and decision-making, the training prepares students for leadership roles.
- Certifications and Mentorship: High-performing interns will receive formal certifications and personalised mentorship from Smartbridge’s expert teams.
Pankaj Bhagchandani added that the partnership underscores the importance of experiential learning in preparing students for the complexities of the global economy.
