The Indian Institute of Management (IIMS), Sirmaur has partnered with the International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA), United Kingdom (UK). The partnership has placed the institute in the global tourism education landscape. The collaboration with more than 1,000 members across over 65 countries provides an enriching engagement in the international academic community, a statement from IIM Sirmaur notified.
Being a member of the International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA) offers advantages that set it apart from other academic or professional associations in the field of tourism studies in India. The collaboration with ITSA will provide opportunities to IIM Sirmaur like joint teaching, exchange programmes and research opportunities, the statement added.
In addition, it mentioned that the association offers exclusive access to cutting-edge research, resources and industry trends, enriching members’ knowledge and enhancing their careers. Students will have the opportunity to learn from international faculty and get exposure to different learning environments.
