IIFL Home Finance has appointed Pradeep Kumar Rangi as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO). With over 20 years of experience in risk management, Rangi brings expertise from leadership roles at Airtel Payments Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore.
At Airtel Payments Bank, he played a key role in developing its Enterprise Risk Management framework. Prior to that, at SC Ventures, the FinTech arm of Standard Chartered Bank, he was instrumental in creating risk frameworks for FinTech startups, addressing challenges in emerging financial technologies.
Expressing his enthusiasm, he stated, “I am excited to join IIFL Home Finance, a leader in affordable housing. My focus will be on strengthening risk management, enhancing digital security and ensuring regulatory excellence. I look forward to contribute to the company’s mission of empowering homeownership in India.”
Rangi is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and an All-India Rank (AIR) holder, with certifications in risk management and cybersecurity. His career spans India, the Middle East, South Asia and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), where he has been recognised for developing advanced risk models and AI-driven strategies.
