Firstsource has appointed Shamita Mukherjee as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In her new role, Shamita will spearhead Firstsource’s people enablement strategy, guiding the company’s workforce evolution amid ambitious growth plans and technological transformation.
With over three decades of experience in human resources, entrepreneurship, and consulting, Shamita brings a wealth of industry expertise to Firstsource. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Global CHRO for Infosys’ BPM division and held multiple leadership roles at the company for more than two decades. She holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
