Federal Bank has announced the appointment of KVS Manian as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 23rd September, 2024 after Shyam Srinivasan working for 14 years with the bank, stepped down from his position. Manian, with over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, is expected to bring his expertise and a strong track record of success to his new role.
Manian joined Federal Bank after a distinguished career at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he played a critical role in transforming the institution from a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) into one of India’s premier private sector banks.
His leadership was instrumental in advancing Kotak’s Corporate, Institutional and Investment Banking divisions, as well as its Wealth Management business, driving significant growth and profitability. Under his strategic guidance, these divisions became highly integrated, profitable and quality-driven franchises.
Federal Bank expressed confidence that Manian’s experience and visionary leadership will propel the bank to new levels of success.
