Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance has been renamed as Edelweiss Life Insurance, according to a company statement.
Sumit Rai, MD and CEO, Edelweiss Life Insurance, said in the statement, “The industry has transformed over the last three-four years, steered by customers’ expectations from their preferred insurer in the digital era. Customers want a greater degree of trust, transparency, simplicity, innovative offerings and ease of access. Guided by these values, we have strengthened our ecosystem to elevate customer and distributor experience. We felt it was the right time for our brand to also embrace these values. We will uphold the promises made to our customers and stay committed to protecting their dreams and aspirations, going forward.”
The statement said that over the past four years, Edelweiss Life Insurance has reoriented its advisory approach, developed insta-issuance capabilities for customer onboarding, and created a unified app to facilitate easy business for distributors. The company has also advanced its data and analytics capabilities to support ongoing innovation, making it more agile in serving its customers. This transformation is reflected in the company’s new logo while retaining its brand positioning of ‘Zindagi unlimited.’
“This rebranding is a significant step in our business journey, enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. We are available to assist our customers and partners with any queries,” Rai added in the statement.
