Bandhan Bank has recently named Santosh Nair, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), HDFC Sales, as Head of Consumer Lending and Mortgages.
Shantanu Sengupta, Head – Retail Banking, Bandhan Bank, will step down, said the bank. However, he will help the bank make a smooth transition and will leave in early FY2024-25.
Prior to joining Bandhan Bank, Nair, at HDFC, oversaw the company’s sales operations across India. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving growth in the bank’s consumer lending and mortgage business, and will oversee the development and execution of strategies to enhance the bank’s competitiveness in these areas.
