Bharti Airtel will provide WhatsApp communication services for India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) customers, allowing them access to banking services on their mobile phone, the two entities said Friday in a statement.
The WhatsApp messaging solution will be delivered to customers through Airtel IQ – a cloud based communications platform as a service (CPaaS) business that provides customer engagement across voice, SMS and WhatsApp channels.
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has collaborated with Bharti Airtel to launch banking services through WhatsApp. The IPPB WhatsApp Banking will allow easy banking services including doorstep service requests and Post Office location tracking for customers. IPPB and Airtel IQ will ensure multi-language support and real-time customer support agents on WhatsApp to provide quick solutions for customer queries.
